Dr. S. Niruba Sethukumari is a Library and Information Science professional with over 25 years of experience in academic library management. She holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and is currently serving as Librarian at the Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS). She played a key role in the automation and digitization of the KITTS Library. She also served as ISO Management Representative of KITTS from 2010–2018 and was the Liaison Officer for the UN Tourism TedQual Certification Process of KITTS in 2026.

She has published and presented numerous papers in library and information science, tourism research, and bibliometric studies. She has participated in several national and international conferences, workshops, and professional development programmes. Besides her academic contributions, she is renowned for her large-scale rangoli artworks and was selected as one of the judges for the Government of India's Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav programme. Her areas of expertise include library automation, digital libraries, research support services, information management, and quality assurance systems.
