KITTS conducted a three day QIP for Deputy Directors of Department of Tourism at Ponmudi

Quality Improvement Programme at Ponmudi
KITTS in association with Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala organized a three days Quality Improvement Programme for Deputy Directors of Department of Tourismat Ponmudi, Thiruvananthapuram from 17 - 19 March 2011. The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Shivasankar, IAS, Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala. The welcome speech was given by Shri. U. V Jose, Director, KITTS and Dr. B. Vijayakumar thanked the gathering.

35 Deputy Directors, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala participated in this programme. Eminent personalities and experts in the field of Travel and Tourism industry shared their knowledge and experience with the participants in the areas of planning, marketing, statistics, human resource management, role of media in tourism, sustainable tourism, responsible tourism, scanning tourism industry, office administration and procedures, personality development and yoga. Apart from this, group activities were also given to the participants based on identified themes. At the end of the programme certificates were also issued to the participants by the Director, Department of Tourism.
