Patheyam, a bi-monthly in Malayalam is focusing Responsible Tourism (RT) initiative in Kerala. RT was initiated in the state in 2007 at four pilot destinations of Kovalam, Kumarakom, Thekkady and Wayanad. This initiative is being rolled out to more destinations and the results and actions at the pilot destinations will be helpful for the stakeholders of new destinations to emulate it and take the initiative forward.
